Hello! I recently purchased a 2nd Gen Chromecast from someone on eBay. I have been trying to get it set up, but when I do my phone (Google Home) shows this screen that says "It needs to be activated before it can be set up." And it gives me the option to set it up later, set up a different device, or "Go to Help Center". When I tap to go the help center, it says I need to download the "Device Utilities" app, which I cannot because it is outdated.
Not really sure what to do at this point. I've tried poking around but so far no luck. Any help is appreciated.
