This is yet another situation in which Google has failed abysmally. I have been a LONG time Google advocate, my original gmail account dates from the late 90s....yes I'm that old. I've had many, many Google/Android devices and services over the years. I've had every phone up until the Pixel 8, ended up replacing it with a iPhone 15 because it continually dropped calls or didn't receive them. I turned to support.....GOOGLE SUPPORT STINKS.
I had, they've been replaced, Nest products. But, they failed or were constantly having issues. The only thing that's been rock solid is the Chromecast with TV.....until the 4K version. I don't know what I was thinking. Hope? Who knows. Anyway, I bought one and within a month it wouldn't stream consistently, etc. I turned to support, did I mention GOOGLE SUPPORT STINKS?...anyway, it's defective. ALL THE WHILE THE CLOCK IS TICKING PAST THE 15 DAYS. I hit 30 days with the new 4K streamer, trying to resolve the issues. NOTHING worked.
NO REFUND FOR YOU! A replacement, which I'll either sell or shelve.
