The google TV wakes up when casting fine works for 15 mins until the screen saver comes on then glitches start. It plays 5 seconds of perfect audio then a 10 second gap.(roughly, it's inconsistent)
Its completely unlistenable.
Only solution is to press a button on the remote to wake the screensaver.
I think it's a setting on the ccwgtv but I can't find it. I don't believe it is the network as the Ccwgtv is wired and the WiFi is robust. It happens on multiple devices and various audio streaming apps, bbc sounds, tidal, Spotify. I've updated the firmware. I've been through the Energy optimisation options and it seemed to improve but hasn't gone away.
Any help appreciated.

Happens from both samsung s23 Ultra (mine) and Samsung s22.
Happens when casting from all of the apps I've tried, including BBS sounds, Tidal and Spotify.
It does happen on a second HD GTVwCC too. but I've not done much research on that one. I want to fix the issue on my primary 4k GTV then maybe I'll be able to fix it on the HD one.
What app do you want me to clear the data for?

I cast from a phone. So there isnt an app.
Or do you mean clear the app data on my phone.
I've already done a factory reset and it didn't help.

Unfortunately that hasn't fixed it either.
Thank you for staying with this. I really hope there is a fix as I know the previous versions of chromecast aren't being sold anymore and aren't being supported either.
Such a shame the GTVwCC really doesn't do the wCC bit anymore.
As it happens across more that one device and app it seems that it must be something to do with the GTVwCC.
Any more suggestions?

Is there a solution for this problem? I have the same issue. Whether casting from the BBC sounds app or by asking my Google home mini to stream bbc radio stations on my chromecast with google tv. Plays fine for 15 minutes then it pauses for 20 seconds then plays for 10 then pauses for 20 seconds...........
