Google Home refuses to recognize an LG soundbar it worked perfectly with for 5 years. The LG SJ9 is on the same network (usually via Ethernet, but I've disconnected and logged it into wifi too). The soundbar has been factory reset to no avail.
I can cast fine to it from YouTube Music and Podcast apps, so Chromecast works. The only thing I haven't done is uninstall Home and reinstall, due to the fact today seeing all my devices and routines back up would take at least all day, unless that data can be backed up and restored (and I haven't seen a reference to how to do that).
I am hoping someone has a fix that doesn't involve starting from scratch. I'm not sure I even know what apps to use to recover connections to my IOT devices. Not all of them anyway. I'll be very grateful for a solution.

Hi @Ditto,
Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with Google Home not recognizing your LG soundbar. Let me help you with this.
Let's try one last troubleshooting step: delete and then reinstall the Google Home app. Don't worry, you won't lose your information about your routines; everything is saved in your account. Once you reinstall the app and log in with your account, all your settings and devices will be loaded.
If the situation persists, I recommend contacting LG support for further assistance.
Best regards,
Lusvin.
