Bluetooth doesn't work

Hello, the Bluetooth on the Chromecast with Google TV 4K does not work. I've tried connecting it to 4 different devices and it doesn't connect to any of them.
I already set factory values and it remains the same.
It searches for devices, the code appears and I confirm it, but it continues searching.
I don't know what to do anymore, I need help, please.

Hello again, I forgot to mention that when the code appears, both on the Chromecast and on the device I'm trying to connect to it, and I click to synchronize, on the Chromecast the device appears as disconnected, which it is not. I click again for it to turn on, it tells me to confirm, I confirm, but it always remains off. On the device, in this case the cell phone, it appears as paired.
Thanks

Hi ammr10,

Thank you for posting here in the community. I'm sorry that your Chromecast is having issues connecting using Bluetooth. But no need to worry, help is here.

Since you've already tried the basic troubleshooting steps on the setting. Here's a deeper dive into advanced troubleshooting for the issues:

Advanced Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Update Software: Make sure you're running the latest software versions on both your Chromecast and the Bluetooth device. Updates often include bug fixes and performance improvements for Bluetooth connectivity.
  2. Restart Devices: A simple restart of your Chromecast and Bluetooth device can sometimes clear up temporary glitches that might be affecting the connection.
  3. Consider Wired Connection: If the Bluetooth connection remains unreliable, using a wired connection (if possible) between your Chromecast and device will provide a more stable pairing process.
  4. Manual Bluetooth Pairing (if applicable): Some Chromecast models might allow manual Bluetooth pairing beyond the standard casting method. Consult your Chromecast's manual or online resources to see if this option is available for your model. If so, follow the specific instructions for pairing your Chromecast and Bluetooth device manually.
  5. Bluetooth Settings on Chromecast (if applicable): A limited number of Chromecast models might offer basic Bluetooth settings within the Google Home app. Explore your Chromecast settings in the app to see if there are any options related to audio quality, connection strength, or interference management.
  6. Check for Conflicting Apps: Certain apps running on your phone or tablet might interfere with Bluetooth connections. Try closing any background apps that might be using Bluetooth before casting audio to your Chromecast.
  7. Factory Reset Chromecast (Last Resort): If none of the above solutions work, consider resetting your Chromecast to factory settings. This will erase all data and settings, including Bluetooth connections. Note: Before resetting, make sure you know your Wi-Fi network name and password for re-setup. In addition please keep in mind that the device goes back to its factory settings after this process.

Let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

Mario

Hello, thank you for your response.
I've already tried all of this, except with the Google Home APP because this Chromecast doesn't allow you to install that APP, which isn't obvious, since it's all from Google, anyway.
I don't like Chromecast at all, you can't install what a person wants, there are things that don't work, like Bluetooth, you can't put applications in the home menu, for example, whenever I want to go to the Play Store I have to go to settings, APP's and open it there, which is ridiculous, I like working with a mouse, something I can't do here! I have an Android box that's about 2 years old and I put whatever I want on there, even though it's not available on the Play Store, I download it to a pen and install it on the Android box, you can't do it on Chromecast!!
Honestly, I regret buying this, I might as well buy a Xiaomi.
I gave up trying anything, it stays as it is and that's it.
Once again, I thank you for your willingness to help me.
Best regards

Hello, thank you for your response.
The situation is a little better, because I bought a hub and I can now install APPs with a pen drive and I can also use a mouse. I know that now you can search by speaking, but I'm a little old and haven't gotten used to these more modern things yet! I'm already talking about Chromecast, Play Store and so I no longer need to use the command to open the page, it's already progress for me.
Little by little I am able to get used to Chromecast.
Best Regards
