Can not add Chromecast or Google mini back to Home App Account

Google Mini 2nd gen Not finding live youtube TV channels to broadcast to Chromecast

I have a Mini 2nd gen and a Chromecast 3rd gen. Watch local NBC news every morning before work.
Until a week or or 2 ago I could say "Hey Google, play NBC from youtube TV on living room TV". It would respond with . " OK, Playing NBC from youtube TV on living room TV"
It started having problems finding NBC from youtube TV. Would have to ask more than one time. Then it would not find it no matter what. Now it can't find any channels from youtube TV. But I can cast it from my phone to my TV.
Have power cycled both devices and looked at settings. Nothing has changed. Just quit working. Any one have the same issue or suggestions on what to try?

Removed both from the Google home app. Now I can't and them back. I can see them in the home app. But they fail to connect because of a network issue. Have reset, restarted router numerous times. Tried different settings and options with in the router. No luck.

Thanks for reaching out to the Chromecast Community forum and for being a step ahead of us. Let's sort this out.

A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? What's the LED status on your Chromecast? What mobile phone are you using?

Give these steps a try:

1. Reboot your Chromecast, Google Home Mini, and mobile phone.
2. Force close and reopen the Google Home app.
3. Reinstall the Google Home app.
4. If you're using an iOS device, please make sure the Local Network Access is turned on.
5. Try to use a different mobile phone.
6. Factory reset your Chromecast and manually connect to the Chromecast SSID. Here's how: go to the phone’s Settings > Open WiFi and connect to the Chromecast SSID (Example: Chromecast1234, Living Room TV, Bedroom TV, etc.) > Go to the Google Home app and try to set it up again.
