The google remote seems that is not responsive (the white light constantly flashing and it does not connect with the chromecast - cant even find it to add it as a remote anymore)
Therefore, I decided to do factory reset (just in case).
However, first screen that comes up is START PARING the remote which does not work.
Trying from adroid mobile GOOGLE TV app - TV REMOTE- Scanning device (nothing)
How can I set up chromecast? without the remote?
(my mobile was working before reset via google home)

Hello @DK10,
I'm sorry to hear of the double you are having. If you are having issues connecting the Voice Remote I would first recommend you install 2 new AAA batteries in the back of the remote.
Next is to put the remote in pairing mode by following the instructions here.
You can also use the Home app to set up and control your Chromecast with Google TV by following the steps on this page.
Let us know if you have further questions.

Thank you very much for the help, Brett.
I was trying the first suggestion (changed batteries and reset everything, this is why I am not in this position) - after resetting Chromecast I am stuck to the very first page which is a pic of the remote asking to hold HOME and back arrow - as the remote does not connect (although the light is flashing, I believe the remote has an issue because it was not responding before the reset, hence the reset done).
Obviously your second suggestion requires an adaptor which I dont have it wont be suitable according to the set up of my internet (the router it too far from the tv, no way to connect with cable).
Is there anything else I can do to overcome this first screen?
Also, I tried connecting my phone via Bluetooth but it seems it works to the level Chromecast sends a request with a code, I accept from my phone but then again it is asking to click PAIR on the TV screen, which again I cannot clink (since no remote)

I'm sorry if I misunderstood. If you don't have the remote that came with the Chromecast with Google TV, you will not be able to set it back up.
You can order a replacement remote here.
If you do have the remote you can put it into pairing mode by pressing and holding the Back and Home buttons for 3 seconds.
