Cast Moderator - Not showing codes consistently

Hello, 

We have 220 Chrome Casts with GTV, deployed in an educational environment.  This year (last year, everything was awesome), many of the devices will not get a new code when they timeout and refresh.  We've ruled out network, NAC, firewall issues as this even occurs offsite.  We've had tech take them home and confirmed the same experience.

This is what we are seeing. These devices are connected via ethernet, and like I said, they worked awesome last school year, but the start of this year has been a nightmare! These devices can be pinged the entire time. Strangely, if you go to check for an update (OS) and then back into the app, they will often work for roughly 30 minutes. Any assistance would be appreciated.
