Cast from chrome to google TV sends video but audio stays on pc

I've seen loads of posts from people who can cast only audio, or when they cast the audio gets muted. My issue is slightly different.
I want to cast a google meet to my google TV. Video casts with no problem at all, but the audio is still coming from my PC. I tried casting chrome window, chrome tab and directly from google meet, but the same issue persisted.

To better understand the situation, please help me by answering the following questions:

  • What operating system are you currently running?
  • Do you have a physical Chromecast device? Or is a TV with Chromecast built-in  (Google Cast)?
  • Does the audio inconvenience happen only with Google Meet? Did you try to cast something else using the same PC?
  • Can you verify if it is already on the latest version of Chrome?
