Wondering why we can't create Chromecast groups and cast video to multiple devices and have it being sync this would be a killer game changing feature for parties streaming the game playing music videos around the house sinking video podcasts around the house
You can do it with audio with like Sonos and products like that wondering why this hasn't been a feature that's been developed
Sinking multiple TVs together with HDMI or SDI requires expensive equipment and lots of cabling if this could just be a feature built into a Chromecast that would be a market disruptor right there And they should be able to time sync with each other over Wi-Fi or ethernet maybe it's mandatory that they're plugged into ethernet for that feature two work

Google has not explained why that feature is not available.
We don't know if it's a licensing or technical issue or if they just don't feel that is right for an at-home product.
You can make a suggestion to Google using the "Send Feedback" option:

Google doesn't read every post in this forum but they do read and track all the feedback they receive that way. Just so you know, they won't respond directly to feedback so don't ask them any questions.
Audio Groups are actually a lot more complex than people think. One of the devices takes charge, gets the stream from the source, and then passes the stream to the other devices over your local network (so you don't have a dozen streams coming into your house). The master keeps everyone else in line and all the other devices check on the master and one of them takes over and becomes the new master if the current master suddenly has problems or disappears (like if you accidentally unplug it). Video requires a LOT more data to move and little glitches would be a lot easier to notice.
