Casting my mobile screen

Touch and hold the tile of the device you want the screen to cast to in google  home. 

How do i do this? Am trying to cast a particular app from my mobile to android tv.

Am not sure if my chromecast is of 1st generation

Please help.

Thanks for reaching out. If you would like to cast your mobile screen to your TV, please make sure that your phone and Chromecast device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network. You can follow the steps listed below:

1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Tap the device you want to cast to.
3. At the bottom of the screen, tap Cast my screen > Cast screen.
4. Tap Start now.
