Change Input List

Hello,

i bought Chromecast HD with Google TV.  I set remote with no issues. I a few input devices: HDMI for LG TV and two media servers. Other entries in a list .. like AV  or Component are empty. 
The button on remote for Input is programmed and when I click on it it moves to the right and select next item in the list. The issue is that after I select another item and click on Select button.. it doesn’t take effect and a new item is not selected. I assume that remote should not only navigate but take effect as well. 
What could be the problem? Did I fail in some settings or what?

P.S. As a workaround I found that I could use Plex app because my media server is Plex. That way I could access it. My expectations were that Input button should do the work … but at least I am not blocked

I understand that you are trying to control the input for your TV, but the feature is not working at all. It allows you to choose the input, but when you are trying to select it, it does not change to that HDMI port. Let me help you in this.

• What is the model of your TV?
• Were you able to use this feature before?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• Have you tried factory resetting the Chromecast with Google TV Voice Remote?

Thanks trying to help. 
Here are my responses:

1. 55LM6700 from 2012

2  I never tried to use this feature before 

3. I tried to troubleshoot it be resetting Chromecast, setting this button either to TV or soundbar or to both of the above. Now when I click on button it opens the interface and each new click moves to another device. Click on device has no effect. 
4. yes, I tried to reset to factory defaults but without luck. 
Eventually from practical point of view I don’t have a case when I need it. Since everything is working as I need I didn’t hit a case when I needed to switch and use another device. Only in one case when I needed to change something on my TV … I simply used LG remote. 
Hence, while it definitely not working as announced… I practically don’t use this “input “ button

I can see that you have already tried some troubleshooting steps, but you are still not able to control the input on your TV. Keep in mind that the Voice Remote won’t be able to control the input for some devices and/or models. I’m happy to hear that you are still able to control the input with the original control of the TV. However, your feedback is invaluable to us and helps us identify areas for improvement. Then here I send you the feedback form where you can share your experience, and then we can start to work to have it working with your TV in the future.
