Chinese sound coming thru

My chromecast is casting videos fine but the sound isn’t coming thru at all or I have it turned all the way up on both devices and can barely hear it. When I stop casting, it’s blaring on the original device. I can’t figure out why the sound isn’t working when I cast.

Hi Waterdancer99,

 

Thank you for posting and I'm sorry to hear that your Google Chromecast isn't working as expected. Help's here, but I just need some information about the devices you're using to give you the right troubleshooting steps. 

 

  • Is the TV connected to an external receiver, soundbar, or speakers?
  • Do you use an HDMI monitor?
  • Are you casting from a computer or a mobile device/tablet?
