Chrome Browser for the Chromecast

I'm not sure which generation of the Chromecast HD i might be referring to, but does it support the Chrome browser?

You cannot use browsers directly on Chromecast devices.

But, you can use the Chrome browser on your phone, tablet, or computer and then cast the page to your Chromecast.
