Chrome cast built-in not available/casting from devices

I have tried for several days now to cast to my tcl android tv with built-in chrome cast from my iPhone with no success. Same WiFi network, and I have tried resetting all devices including the router. Nothing has worked.

This was not an issue a couple weeks ago. I’m convinced this is a Google issue.
What solutions are there?

I understand how frustrating it is when something works great one day, then stops working the next! I'd be happy to help find the issue, I'll just need to ask a few questions to narrow it down:
 
Are your devices up-to-date on their updates and firmware?
Is the Google Home App up-to-date?
Are you able to cast to the Chromecast from another device, such as a tablet or a computer?
Are you using the recommended router settings
 
I would also check out this article on common Chromecast connection issues and see if everything looks good in that regard. Let me know if you had any more questions or concerns, I'm always happy to help!
