Chrome cast cnt find my device

Not finding my device I changed routers so I got a new network or Wi-Fi so I rebooted factory reset and I it’s not find my device

Thanks for posting — let's get this sorted out. How did you factory reset your Chromecast 1st gen device? Try the troubleshooting steps below:

 

  • Turn off and on WiFi settings on your phone.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app.
  • Unplug and replug Chromecast device from the power outlet and your TV for a minute.
  • Open the Google Home app > Try to do the set up. If the issue persists;
  • Open your phone’s WiFi settings and check if there’s a Chromecast.XXXX network. If yes, connect to it > Go back to the Google Home app > Proceed with the setup steps.
