I am sorry, that is not a good sign.

No light at all means the Chromecast device is not powering up.

First, make sure you are using a wall-plug and NOT the USB port on your TV (those ports do not push enough power).

Try a different power-block and cable.  Chromecast devices use standard plugs and cables so any others you find around the house will work.

If you STILL don't get any lights, it sounds like your device has failed.  Google only repairs/replaces if you are still under warranty.  Use this to check your status:
