Hi,
I am facing some issue on my Google Chromecast that not able to connect properly with my wireless network. It was showing weird broken image beside the wifi name (HomeMedia) as shown in the image below and no cast device was found when my mobile was connected on same wifi as Chromecast.
During my setup, I saw that there was a warning message when trying to connect wifi which might not compatible with my wifi.
I need some advice on this and any solution for this? Thank you.

Hi IImVictor,
Thanks for reaching out. Let's sort this out.
A few questions — what country are you in? Are you using your own home WiFi network? Have you successfully completed the setup? You could try rebooting your Chromecast, mobile phone and WiFi router. You can also visit this support website article for additional steps.
Keep me posted.
Thanks,
Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for your response while I am from Malaysia and was using home WiFi.
I had successfully complete the setup but you will see a "broken image" icon on the bottom left corner of the display (as attached image above).
I had tried to reboot & factory reset on my Chromecast, but it does not help.
I found out that there was some compatibility issue from my Chromecast to the wifi router as I tried with different router (some is work and some is not working) but the settings (encryption, authentication) was similar.
Wonder that is there any compatibility to be match for the chromecast able to connect properly with WiFi network? Seek for some advice on this.

Note: If you aren’t not familiar with these settings, you may refer to your router manufacturer's documentation or you may contact your internet service provider for help.
