Chromecast Audio speaker group stops playing same time everyday

Speaker group consisting of 8 chromecast audio streams Swedish Radio. Every day, around 2 pm, they stop streaming and i have to start it again, by saying Ok, google listen to Swedish Radio P3. It then streams for a about a minute up to an half hour and i have to repeat the procedure. This goes on for about 2 hours, and after 4-4.30 pm it works flawlessly again, without interruption. This behavior has been going on for years and I have tried every possible setup on my network which consists of the Unifi Dream Machine Pro as well as a number of Unifi access points. All Chromecast have good wifi coverage and godd bandwith. No other wired or wireless equipment are affected by these interruptions.

Any help or ideas?

Hi kgbengt,

Thank you for reaching out to our community.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're experiencing daily interruptions with Swedish Radio. It can be really frustrating when your listening is constantly interrupted.

To help me troubleshoot the issue, please let me know the following:

  • Are you experiencing this issue only with Swedish Radio, or does it happen with other channels as well?
  • Is the Swedish Radio app up-to-date?
  • Is the Google Home app up-to-date?
  • Have you noticed any changes in your internet connection's speed or latency between 2 and 4 PM?
  • Are you using the iHeartRadio or TuneIn Premium app?

I'm here to help you resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Best regards,

Virna
