Hi TomMin,
Thanks for reaching out to our community.
We appreciate you informing us that you want to use the screen mirroring feature to present on a projector from your Android 11 smartphone and Android 13 tablet. You need the right adapter, so you're asking us for a Chromecast model recommendation and whether the Chromecast device can split audio and video.
At the time, I recommended that you use the Chromecast with Google TV model HD or 4K. You can use the screen mirroring feature on either of these two streaming model devices. Even though your projector does not require an internet connection, the Chromecast devices must be connected to the same internet connection as your mobile device and your Android 13 tablet. If you do not have access to a WiFi network, you can use your Android 11 mobile device as a hotspot, but this method is not recommended by Google because it will degrade the Chromecast device's performance while casting.
Regarding your inquiry about separating the audio and video with Chromecast, that depends on the hardware features of your projector. Chromecast is a Google streaming media adapter that lets users play music and videos from the internet on a digital device, but the sound output feature is located in the projector's inputs and output panel.
Feel free to keep us posting if you have more questions.
Best regards,
Virna
