Chromecast Google TV plays last episode in stead for first

I started watching a new series from the Google TV homescreen and it played the last episode instead of the first (only realised this after watching the episode). It is a new series that we have not watched before. The series is on Prime. This has happend before but can't remember what streaming service it was on. This is on a Chromecast Google TV HD device.

In this situation, I'd like to ask a couple of questions:

• Does it happen on other profiles?
• Have you performed any steps before?

In the meantime, I'd suggest the following:

• Clear the cache on your Chromecast with Google TV.
