Chromecast Keeps Switching to Screensaver While Watching Live

Hello,

Over the past few days whenever I'm watching anything from the Live tab for a while, it will switch over to the screensaver. I've tried restarting and force stopping the app but it just happens again. Everything is up to date.

Hi buddha673,

 

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Is this isolated to a particular app (YouTube TV, Sling TV, Pluto TV, etc.)? Since rebooting and force-stopping the app didn’t help, try to clear the cache and/or delete and reinstall the app. You can also do a full clean-up by performing a factory reset on your Chromecast with Google TV, then setting it up from scratch.
