My Chromecast Ultra 4k which I have had since it launched is unfortunately crapping out on me now, everytime I turn on my TV, the chromecast always starts off on the "Can't connect to Wi-Fi" screen where it shows the 4 digits. I have to then unplug and replug the USB cable to reboot it where it would then work after.
The device is fully up to date, has been factory resetted, and I have even changed my network SSID in hopes that would work as well but no luck.
My friend recently had his Google WiFi run into major issues with Support unable to resolve his issues and they ended up replacing his unit at no cost. Is Google able to replace my unit as well? I have tried every possible option I believe to fix this issue but feel like the device has died on itself

In most cases, Google only warranties Chromecast devices for 1 year. I am pretty sure they stopped selling the Ultra sometime back in 2020 so you will be well out of warranty unfortunately. Check using these instructions:
