Hello,
I have a chromecast that works perfectly fine for 1,5 years and yesterday when I wanted to cast from my iphone, the chromecast is not listed. It turns out that the chromecast is updating but getting stuck at 0%. Here's a couple things I've done.
After all the above, it is still stuck updating at 0%. Any advice for this issue?
Also, these are some information of my devices.

I am having the same issue!
• Connected to the WiFi from router(2.4 GHz only) didn’t work.
• Connected to the WiFi from hotspot shared by phone didn’t work

Hey folks, it seems that my network is the culprit in my case. The update progresses when I use a different network. Here's what I did as suggested by @madebygoogle from twitter.
After the update was successful, I verified if I can cast. Then I changed the chromecast network back to my original Wi-fi network.

Hi Jennifer,
My chromecast works fine with different ISP. Do you have any idea about what might cause this phenomenon? I would like to ask the ISP which blocked the update to check the settings.

Hey there TerryC,
Here are the settings you'll want to enable/disable on your router to allow the Chromecast to work properly:
Enable: Multicast and Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP)
Disable: AP/client isolation, virtual private networks (VPNs), proxy servers, IGMP Proxy
The names of the settings may vary from router to router, however, so you may need to ask your ISP if you cannot find specific settings.
Best regards,
Jeran
