Hi,
I recently started having a very inconvenient problem while streaming youtube on my tv using Chromecast.
Autodub is automatically actived on the video that is streamed, and the language settings have disappeared on youtube.
This only happens when streaming with Chromecast, if i watch the video on my phone, the language settings are accessible on the app and i can turn autodub off.
I tried resetting the Chromecast to Factory settings, didn't help.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks

Hi @Rkts,
Thank you for contacting this community! I understand you're running into a tricky issue where YouTube videos automatically dub themselves when you cast them to your TV using Chromecast, and the language settings disappear. I appreciate you've already confirmed this doesn't happen when you watch directly on your phone and that you've tried a factory reset on your Chromecast. We'll get this sorted!
I'd like to share some troubleshooting steps that might help you.
Please feel free to share any additional details you think might be relevant.
Best regards,
Eduardo

Hi,
I totally understand how frustrating that must be—I've experienced the same issue with YouTube’s autodub feature when using Chromecast. It's especially annoying when the language settings disappear and you can’t even turn it off from the TV. Since this seems to be a Chromecast-specific glitch, one thing that really helped me was switching to an alternative streaming app. I’d highly recommend checking out Sportzfy—it's free, user-friendly, and you can stream without those annoying autodub issues. You can easily find it online; just visit their website to download.
It’s a great backup when YouTube starts acting up!
