Chromecast keeps buffering when casting

Hello, I have recently encountered a problem with my Chromecast. On several supported apps (like HBO, VIU), when I tried to cast it just keeps buffering “connecting to TV” and then it disconnected completely. However, other apps (like Youtube, Disney+) works fine. I have tried updating all the apps and restarting my Chromecast but it still won’t work. Anybody have an idea to solve this?

Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. Please reinstall the affected apps and reboot your Wi-Fi router and mobile phone. If the issue persists, do a factory reset on your Chromecast device.

Hello Jennifer, I have tried the steps and factory reset my Chromecast but it still won’t connect to the affected apps. I have used Chromecast on those apps before but now suddenly it just won’t connect.
