Unsure of generation of chromecast.
Recently got new Wifi and connected new Wifi to chromecast and all of our devices.
On the Google Home app, the chromecast is shown and connected to the correct Wifi. However, Stan is the only app that will cast. Netflix, YouTube, 9now etc. show the option of our chromecast, but when clicked, the casting rectangle just flashes for ages and eventually says cannot connect.
All the apps have been updated, phone is updated. Have rebooted the Wifi and Chromecast multiple times. We have done everything we can think of to get the other apps to be able to cast, but Stan is the only one that works.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. You can check here what version of Chromecast device you have. It is quite bizarre that you were able to cast, but not all apps. You can isolate possible network issues by disconnecting your Chromecast from your Wi-Fi and connecting it or setting it up to another smartphone’s mobile hotspot along with your actual phone. You can also try performing a factory reset and setting it up from scratch.
