Chromecast remote

Hi! 
I took the Chromecast from my parents house and have been trying to get it to connect to my tv. The remote won’t turn on and I can’t seem to factory reset without the remote. Is there a way to do this or am I SOL?

Hi Riddle2276,

Let’s further look into this. Have you tried to change your Chromecast Voice Remote’s batteries? Also, is this how you factory reset your remote?
