Chromecast setup remote buttons doesn' work

I tried to setup the remote buttons on my chromecast, but when I  click on "add device" and then click on the "TV" option, it just goes away and it sometimes takes me to the home screen. For the people who wants a video, it is Here

Have you tried to factory reset the Chromecast and try again?

Do you have other solutions maybe? Because I don't want to factory reset my chromecast. Only if it's that's only solution.

Sadly not, truth be told factory resetting is not too painful for these units luckily, and generally takes much less time to resolve issues and reload than trying to identify the cause of this problem
