It keeps resetting itself saying that is not connected to my internet when my internet is working fine

Thanks for reaching out. Let's sort this out.
A few questions: when did the issue start? Does it occur when watching a video or even when it's in idle mode? Are you casting a video from your phone or you're watching directly from the app in your Chromecast with Google TV? Please reboot your Chromecast and Wi-Fi router. Also, try to plug in your Chromecast into a different HDMI port on your TV and make sure it is plugged in correctly to the TV and power source.
