Chromecast with Google TV and Continue Watching

There is a program on my "Continue Watching" section that keeps coming back.  I select the item with a long press and then select "hide," but it keeps coming back.  This is the only item on Continue Watching where the "hide" feature has not worked.  How can I permanently get rid of this item?
