Chromecast with Google tv 4k dosen't lower volume on tv when Google Assistant is listening

Hi i change my Chromecast Ultra 4k to a new Chromecast with Google Tv 4k.

 

But after i change Google wont lower the volume on tv while listening.

 

Why is that?

 

Its extremely annoying 😭😭 is there any way to change that 🙏🙏

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I’m truly sorry that after replacing the previous Chromecast for the Chromecast with Google TV 4K, the volume is not working. I’m happy to assist you and find a solution. 

 

To gather more information and provide you with the best assistance, please provide me the following information: 

 

  • Are the remote audio’s buttons working?
  • Is the issue only when you try to lower the volume?

 

In the meantime, check if you have the TV set as the configured remote button in the Chromecast settings:

 

  • Go to Settings > Remotes & Accessories > Set up remote buttons.
  • Select the relevant device to troubleshoot; for example, Sony TV > Setup buttons > reconfigure the controls for Volume, Power, or Input.
