Chromecast wont conenct to wifi

Chromecast won't connect to wifi, I already tried the normal diagnostics and checks: 

• app is up to date
• Light is white
• Wifi router is fully up to date
• Wifi password is correct

I don't know what to do

Has it connected and working normally before in the past? Or is this the first time you're setting it up?
