I have two Chromecasts. When I try to set them up it says go to Chromecast app. When I go to the App Store it says app not available. Google home is not even recognizing Chromecast to find to hook it up

The 1st Gen Chromecast supports only 2.4GHz wifi - so check your network and device supports that else you won't be able to see or use the Chromecast. Providing that's all ok and you haven't already done so, try to factory reset the device (press and hold the reset button until the led starts flashing) and run the set up process again.
