Chromecasting working perfectly for all apps, except Crunchyroll

When I am on the Crunchyroll app on my IOS device, my Samsung Smart TV is not listed as one of the chromecast devices I can connect to. When I however use the any other chromecast supported app (e.g. Youtube, Netflix, etc.) I am able to connect to my TV without any issues (my TV is therefore listed as one of the devices I can connect to from my IOS device).

I hope my problem makes sense. Why is it that just the Crunchyroll doesn't find my device? Is there any way to fix this?

I am not sure why Crunchroll doesn't work currently.

You are using the buildin Chromecast so best is to reach out to Crunchyroll why they dont support it?

Funny thing is that Crunchyroll definitely supports chromecast, as I can still connect to the other TVs/devices in my house from the Crunchyroll app. It is only my Samsung TV that is not listed as a connectable option for some reason. 
But I think you’re right that I should still contact them.

Hey @Jeran and @JenniferV ! Sorry for only getting back now! Unfortunately I haven’t been able to sort out the problem after speaking to Crunchyroll. I think the problem is however on their side, as they have informed me that with some Samsung Tv’s google chromecast doesn’t work.

So I don’t think there is a solution, but you guys wouldn’t maybe know of alternative ways that I might be able to stream?

Understood. You can try to use a different casting device such as an Android phone or a computer/laptop and test if you'll be able to cast a video content on the TV. If it's still not possible then, it would be best to send feedback about this to Crunchyroll so they can add this feature or functionality in the future.
