Chromercast with google tv HD version android 14 update

Already had the android 14 update for my 4k model but weeks have gone by and still no android 14 update for the other 2 HD models. Where is the HD android 14 update gone or have you stopped the rollout ?

Hi, the andnoid 14 update that rolled out weeks ago has made it onto my 4k version of chromecast with google tv but I have also have 2 HD versions and they are still being given the update, I have read people were having problems after the rollout and I asked if  the rollout had been stopped  due to this , as still as of today there is no update onto android 14 for the HD versions.

Thank you for letting me know! Let's try performing a factory reset on your device to see if that initiates the update.

Here's how to perform a factory reset:

  • With the Google TV Streamer Voice Remote:
    • At the top right of your TV screen, select your profile, then All settings.
    • Select System, then About, and finally Factory Reset.
  • From the Google TV Streamer device:
    • While the device is plugged into the TV and powered on, press and hold the button on the back of the device for 10-12 seconds. The LED should start to blink yellow.
    • When the LED light turns solid white, release the button, and the device should then reset.

I have already done a factory reset which then involves resigning in to all the app accounts which is time consuming and still no update. Have google ceased the rollout due to the reported problems  with the 4K rollout ?
