Clarification on Google TV Streamer Audio Bit-Depth Support

I understand that the Chromecast with Google TV supports 24-bit/96 kHz audio. However, I'm having difficulty getting this to work on the Google TV Streamer. I've tried setting the audio to PCM and then Dolby TrueHD, which my TV and soundbar support when enabling Audio Passthrough on my Samsung 2023 TV, but I still can't achieve 24-bit audio. Could you please clarify if the Google TV Streamer supports 24-bit/96 kHz audio?
