Continue Watching will not allow hide

The option to hide a tile that is in the Continue Watching section of For You is not there. I see several shows from various apps, and when I long press the select button on the tile, the only option is to open. There is no hide option. This is a long running problem with Chromecast for years now, where either you can't hide the tile, or the tile comes right back after you hide it. It annoying for two reasons. One; the problem is a clear bug that has been reported many times by many people over the years. Two; it's been years and the bug has still not been properly addressed.

In the attached picture, you see there is no option for "hide".

I'm using Chromecast 4K (Model GZRNL)
