Device disconnects around similar time each day.

The office I work at has an old Chromecast audio device (Model REX-J42) that we use to listen to the radio. Every day at around 3PM give or take half an hour, the device disconnects. It happens like clockwork every day at around that time. we've tried reseting the device, changing network and using different streaming services but it happens all the same.

 

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this, it's been happening for years now.

  • What color is the status light on the Chromecast Audio?
  • Do you see any error messages in the Google Home app?
  • Is there any visible physical damage to the Chromecast Audio, the plug, or the cable?
