Have two chromecast's (just picked up a second gen, and had a 3rd for over a year or so now).
Neither will bring up any device settings through the home app. I have restored them both, reset my internet. As well as just got a new phone (had a note 10+ and got a note 20 ultra a week ago.)
So I know it's not my phone, can't be the chromecast's as they've been restored. (Able to cast to them fine), and I would think that internet issues are ruled out as I've reset it as well.
Blows my mind, because about a month ago, I was able to view the chromecast's device settings. But now it's just a blank white screen.
Any help would be much appreciated, my guess would be a glitch in the app or something? Because they are functioning well. Just can't view settings 🤷.
Thanks

That's really strange for sure, usually not being able to see settings means a connection issue, but being able to cast means it is connected.
Can you try rebooting your phone, the router, and the Chromecast? Not factory reset, just a power cycle on all three to see if that clears it up? You might also want to force close the Google home app before rebooting your phone just to be safe. Let me know if this works!
