In order to setup a Chromecast device you must first connect your phone to a WiFi network, in order to know which one you should select for Chromecast.

So, you navigate to the phone's settings, WiFi, select the network you are connected and look at the frequency.

If you have a dual band router, set it to show distinct names for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies.

Ensure that both the Chromecast device and your phone are connected to the same WiFi network (same bandwidth).
