First of all, I am having an issue with Live TV on my Chromecast with Google TV. Why isn’t there an option in the “Choose an issue category” drop-down menu that is even slightly relevant to my issue? The four issue categories listed have nothing to do with a Chromecast with Google TV issue so I just picked the first one in the list.
The issue I have is, on my TV, when I go to Google TV / Live TV, in the column on the left that displays the list of “Your Channels”, “Free built in channels” “Free channels from apps” etc. the number of channels and list of apps will randomly disappear. They will reappear, though it’s sometimes 10 to 20 minutes later. Also, sometimes the Google TV app in the list and other options like Movies, News and Opinion and others simply are gone. As I mentioned, they do eventually reappear, but it’s very frustrating when I am trying to find a live show to watch and I have to wait. I have had the Chromecast for several years but issue started just a few weeks ago. A Google chat representative told me to factory reset the Chromecast to fix it and I did, but it didn’t fix the problem. Has anyone had this issue and found a solution without having to purchase a new Chromecast?
