Hello,
I recently bought a Google Streamer. Under some circumstances, the screensaver starts even if an application is streaming content. I would like to disable the screensaver or change the timer.
I cannot find any options for this in Google Home nor in the settings using the device itself.
Could you please explain how to do what I am looking for?
Thanks a lot!
Loïc

Hi Lwenkin,
Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear that your screensaver starts when you are streaming content. I understand that you want to customize the screensaver on your Google TV Streamer (4K). Don't worry; I can help. In this case, it is not possible to change the timer of the screensaver, but you can try to turn it off with the next steps on the Google Home app:
Best regards,
Jenny

Hi Lwenkin,
Thanks for your reply. I understand that you tried to disable the ambient mode, and you cannot find the option. In this case, the recommendation will be to restart your Streamer device. Here is how:
After the restart, try to disable the ambient mode again.
Please let me know how that goes. I'll be waiting for your response.
Best regards,
Jenny

Here are the options I have, with the top right menu only showing help + feedback.
