Chromecast accidentally signed out and cancelled third party

I have had my Chromecast for a couple years and when moving it just restarted. When I was securing my account I accidentally signed out of Chromecast and have spent a week trying to get it to work. It's stuck in the Welcome page and even if I turn off the remote and take the batteries out it still comes on when I turn the tv on. I jest need my Chromecast back for streaming. I'm technologically challenged so I've done everything it said but still not working. PLEASE HELP! IM disabled and live on Canada so I desperately need me entertainment back. I'm still paying for all my streaming stations that ii haven't been able to use. I've gotten it to the point of waiting once but it said ", Chromecast can't communicate," Please help me get it working again

It's good to hear from you that you've already taken action on the matter. So let's explore more tips.

Reboot the streaming device and TV: Power off the TV, then unplug the TV and streaming device from your power source and HDMI connection.

  • Wait one minute, plug the TV and streaming device into their power source, and wait 30 seconds.

  • Power on the TV, then connect the streaming device to the TV’s HDMI port.

  • Tune the TV to the same HDMI input where the streaming device is plugged in.

Try to use another HDMI port on the TV.

If applicable, test the streaming device on another TV.

  • Plug in the streaming device to the TV.

  • Test if the streaming works.
