Google TV Streamer (4K) Image Freezes Without Pause Interface

My Google TV Streamer 4K randomly pauses, but without showing the manual pause interface, as if the screen freezes. If I press the select button in the middle, the playback continues. I've tried using a wired network, but the issue persists. I've also replaced the power adapter and HDMI cable, but the random pauses still occur, including on YouTube, Prime Video, and Netflix. However, when I use the older Chromecast with Google TV (4K), I don't experience this issue.

This unit was returned and replaced with a new one, but the problem still persists. I'm not sure if it's from the same batch, which could explain the recurring issue.
