Transmitir video a chromecas y audio a parlante

Hi C3s4r_2025,

Thank you for posting in the community. I apologize that you’re unable to cast your audio from your Nest Chromecast and your speakers. I understand how frustrating this can be. I’m here to help.

Before I begin, I need to ask you a few questions for further assistance:

  • What model of Google streaming device do you have? (Here is the reference to check what model of Chromecast you have.)
  • What model of speakers do you have?
  • When did the issue start?
  • Have you ever used the speaker group feature successfully before?
  • Do you use an HDMI monitor?

Please keep me posted. I look forward to your response.

Regards,

Byron

Hi C3s4r_2025,

Thank you for your post. Based on your answers, the option to cast audio to that specific speaker isn't currently available. Let's find other options.

The suggested workaround is to create a speaker group and then cast audio to that speaker group specifically for music. The device may not be compatible with casting videos; Your Chromecast Ultra might be designed to play the audio with your TV or computer.

To try cast audio, add those speakers to the Google Home app and then create a speaker group. Here is the article to create and manage speaker groups. If your speaker isn't compatible with this method, you might consider getting a Nest speaker instead.

We're always looking for improvements. Please share your thoughts and experiences by submitting them to the feedback form so we can address this better in future updates.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,

Byron
