I connect Google TV Streamer 4K directly to 4K LG TV and have no issues. When I connect streamer to Denon AVR-S970H, the Google home screen either flickers or TV screen will go black for a second, come back and this happens every few minutes. Is the issue not using a HDMI 2.1 cable? I dont want to spend additional $20 on a cable if it doesnt help. Any help here is much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @Murthy
For the Google TV Streamer the 2.1 HDMI is necessary for receiver connections. See Meet Google TV Streamer (4K) - Google TV Help
Likely that will help the flicker but if you are still having problems please make a new post and we can try and help you out again.
Thanks!

Hi Jill, I think you are right. I changed the video format on the Denon from Enhanced to Standard and now the issue is gone but the video quality is 1080p!
The other issue is the PCM stereo audio input signal forced onto the Denon by Google streamer, with no access to Surround sound formats that the Denon can decode.Should have gone with the Roku Streaming 4K stick, saved $60 and none of these issues!
Thanks,
Murthy

I hear you. Sometimes getting all of our extra things to work together can be challenging. I have a lowbrow set up with my Streamer directly into my TV so my life is simple.
Hopefully, I've helped...at least a bit!
Thanks for your posts!

Yes you have helped Jill. Using a HDMI 2.1 cable has solved the flashing TV screen issue. Thanks for your help.
