Google TV Streamer CEC power Philips OLED problem

Problem:

I have a PHILIPS 55OLED854/12, connected to my Google TV Streamer.

When I set up the remote control to power up the TV with the Streamer remote control through CEC, this works perfectly.

The day after, the the TV won't turn on with the Streamer remote control. It does power on with the Philips remote control, but I prefer to use only the TV Streamer remote.

Things I have tried:

- Google helpdesk by phone,  can't help me

- ''auto CEC'' function

- ''TV CEC'' function

- IR TV power control (when I activate this, it works fine for a few hours, the day after, when I push the power button from the TV Streamer, the TV powers up, and after 5 seconds powers off)

- Other HDMI CEC port on Philips TV

- remove both power cords and HDMI from Philips TV and from TV Streamer, then after 10 minutes, reconnect HDMI and reconnect power from both.

Every time, the power function works perfectly the first day, the next day it doesn't power up the TV.

Somebody has a solution please?

Thanks for helping me.

It appears the latest firmware update broke something on the Streamer, I'm also having the issue where I can't turn on the TV and the Streamer with the streamer's remote but I can turn on the TV with its own remote control, however, the streamer doesn't turn on anymore if I press the home button on its own remote control and the only workaround is to disconnect it from the power outlet and reconnect it.

Here's to hope the next firmware update fixes the issue.

If you are having the issue like me, you can send feedback about it through the device by going to settings -> help and feedback ->  send feedback.

Thank you for your reply.

Let's hope the next update fixes this problem. Updates don't come frequently on the Streamer. My latest security update is August 2025😐
