Google TV Streamer Kids Profiles Not Staying Logged In / Especially with YouTube

I've set up Kids Profile for my kids and am running into a constant problem of the account not remaining logged in, especially when going to the YouTube app. 

The process goes like this:
- Turn on Google TV, choose the Kids Profile

- Choose YouTube app, and no user is signed in

- Click "Sign In" and attempt to sign in the Kids profile and log in fails, gets stuck in a loop and never logs in

- Back out of YouTube back to Google TV screen, back to Profiles and choose My (Adult) Profile

- Go to YouTube app and choose "Switch Accounts" and choose Kids Profile

- YouTube reloads and loads the Kids Profile in YouTube

(if I back out of YouTube, then I'm in the Kids Profile on Google TV)

So obviously something is wrong.  Yes, I eventually get to the kids profile on YouTube, but this is not something my kids can navigate (or my non-tech enable wife can either for that mater) so if I'm not home to do this then the kids aren't able to safely watch YouTube, which renders the Kids Profile useless.

Been dealing with the same issue withe the Google Streamer.  Currently have been unable to find a solution.
