A recurring overscan issue has been observed with the Google TV Streamer when connected to an LG television. Although the television's overscan setting is set to "Automatic," the Google TV Streamer fails to correctly interpret this configuration, resulting in the edges of the display being cropped.
A temporary workaround involves manually changing the TV's overscan setting from "Automatic" to "Activated." This resolves the cropping, allowing the full image to be displayed. This issue appears to be specific to the Google TV Streamer, as other Android-based streaming devices connected to the same television do not exhibit the same behavior.
Hopefully, this will be addressed in a future firmware update.

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I understand that your Google TV Streamer is experiencing an overscan issue when connected to an LG TV. You noted that although your TV's overscan setting is set to "Automatic," the issue persists, and that changing it to "Activated" temporarily resolves the issue. I know this must be concerning, as you've confirmed that other streaming devices work without any issues on the same TV. I appreciate the detailed information you've shared. I'm here to help you.
